Lucan: An Indian youth, from Kerala has died of a heart attack in Lucan village, Dublin, Ireland .
Basil Raju (22), son of Raju Kuriakose of Ballyovan Abbeydale Rice, passed away last evening (29/05/2026).
He belongs to the Ponnatt family of Ramamangalam East, Ernakulam. His father Raju Kuriakose works at Dublin Phoenix Park and his mother Lucy Mathew works at Cherry Orchards Hospital Dublin. His only sister is Dr. Rienzi Raju working Lady Hospital, Navan.
Basil Raju, a fourth-year medical student in Bulgaria, returned to his home in Dublin on vacation yesterday. He is a parishioner of St. Greogorios Church, Dublin and Details regarding the funeral will be announced later.
