Three Indian origin Youth Cricketers Secure Spots in Ireland Youth Cricket Squad

DUBLIN — In a proud moment for the Irish-Indian community, three young Indian origin cricketers have officially secured their spots in the Ireland Youth Cricket squads. 
Rising talents Siddharth Biju, Shravan Biju, and Adil Naim have earned national call-ups. Notably, this marks the second consecutive year that all three players have achieved selection for the national youth setup.
The Selected Players
These three prospects have been delivering standout performances across Dublin's competitive school and club cricket circuits:
  • Siddharth Biju (U17) & Shravan Biju (U15): Residing in Saggart, Dublin, they are the sons of Biju and Deepthi, originally from Kozhikode, Kerala. Both are students at Coláiste Pobail Fóla in Saggart and play their club cricket for Adamstown Cricket Club.
  • Adil Naim (U17): Living in Finglas, Dublin, Adil is the son of Thiruvananthapuram natives Kunnil Pallikkal Naim and Sunitha Beegum, an employee at the National Maternity Hospital. He is a fifth-year student at Belvedere College and plays domestically for Phoenix Cricket Club.
Upcoming International Tournaments
The young athletes are now preparing to represent Ireland on the international stage:
  • U17 Celtic Cup: Siddharth and Adil will travel to Glasgow, Scotland, to feature for the Ireland U17 squad in the upcoming tournament.
  • U15 BA Festival: Shravan Biju is currently undergoing intensive training preparations ahead of traveling to compete in England's prestigious youth festival.
