Foreign ministries from multiple nations have scrambled to coordinate information regarding missing citizens, a significant portion of whom were travelers and pilgrims traversing the region toward sacred sites. Concurrently, international humanitarian aid began arriving via military and NGO supply flights on Friday, focusing heavily on providing safe drinking water, emergency shelter, and medical triage for survivors facing the risk of waterborne disease outbreaks in the ravaged valleys.
