LONDON- The UK Indian community has been plunged into deep sorrow following the sudden and tragic death of Berin Varghese, a veterinary doctor based in Heathrow, leaving his wife and young daughter devastated.
Originally from Chittar in Pathanamthitta, Kerala, Dr. Berin Varghese was found lifeless in his bedroom by his wife when she went to wake him up in the morning. His death has been confirmed to be caused by a heart attack.
This untimely passing of the young doctor has sent shockwaves through the diaspora, coming amidst a series of distressing news reports that have shaken the UK Malayalee community over the past week.
Having previously served as a veterinary doctor in Kerala, Berin completed his higher studies in the United States before settling down in Heathrow, UK. He lived with his wife, and their five-year-old daughter
His brother resides in Norwich, and his sister lives in Ireland. His parents had traveled to Ireland just days prior to visit their daughter and have now rushed back to Heathrow upon hearing the heartbreaking news.
UK Malayalees and local community associations have rallied together to support and comfort the grieving family, who are struggling to come to terms with the sudden loss.
