MUMBAI, INDIA — Three men have been arrested in connection with a shooting incident targeting Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff’s car in Mumbai. The suspects were apprehended at Kota railway station in Rajasthan while travelling on a train from Mumbai towards Delhi, police reports said on Monday.

The accused have been identified as Phool Singh, 17, and Rehan, 18, both from Haryana, and Hrithik Kumar, 22, also known as Roshan, who was living in Mumbai. One of the accused is a minor.

The arrests were carried out by the Anti-Gangster Task Force and Rajasthan Police, with the suspects subsequently facing questioning as investigators seek to establish their individual roles in the incident.

The shooting took place in Mumbai’s Juhu area on Sunday evening. According to reports, attackers arriving on a motorcycle opened fire at the actor’s vehicle. Shroff was not injured, while two other people were reportedly wounded.

Messages circulating on social media claimed responsibility on behalf of a gang associated with Lawrence Bishnoi. Police are investigating the authenticity of those claims, along with the motive behind the attack and whether additional people were involved.

The investigation remains ongoing.
