Dublin: The arrival of Alexis, a tropical storm, has hit the country and could lead to a storm in Ireland this week. Next week's weather conditions are described as "absolutely unstable" and "humid and cloudy".
There is still uncertainty surrounding the storm from Jupiter to Friday, including the effects of the tropical storm Alexis. Most models keep it out of the west, but strong winds are expected on Friday as well
Extreme levels of rainfall, thunderstorms and strong winds were forecast by Met Eireann for a washout week. The weather is expected to remain humid and windy throughout the week, with weather models showing the possibility of storms from Thursday to Friday.
The tropical storm Alex formed over the weekend in the Atlantic region of South Florida. It is wreaking havoc in Bermuda with heavy rain and wind, but it is beginning to move. Climate models, however, are subject to change, with the possibility of a hurricane in Ireland from Thursday to Friday, including the remnants of its wind gusts.
With heavy rains moving across the country, Ireland is poised to face dire conditions next week. Met Irene predicts heavy rainfall over Munster and Connaught, with unseasonable weather forecast for the rest of the week.
It will be humid and slightly windy and less prone to sunlight. Met Eireann gives terrible conditions as it shows no 'signs' of good summer weather.
