Admin delete has arrived, now admin can delete WhatsApp with new features. WhatsApp has been busy building its group chat features in recent updates, and this latest feature is aimed at helping group admins better moderate conversations, where spammers who unnecessarily forward messages in groups and exit quickly are more affected.
Also, this is a moderation strategy prepared by WhatsApp for those who don't listen to admin messages, don't follow the dignity of the group, and leave other indecent and spam posts without deleting them.
Beta testers who have been granted "Group Admin Delete" privileges will be able to delete recent messages from a chat group of which they are an admin with the new "Delete for All" option in the Delete menu popover.
Messages deleted by an admin will be indicated with a message stating that an admin has been removed. That means when a message is deleted for everyone in the group, group members will be notified in the thread that a particular group admin has deleted that message.
The feature will allow admins to delete messages for everyone in the group. Previously, admins could only delete messages themselves, like all other members of the group.
Everyone to delete:
The time limit for everyone to delete their posts has also been changed, earlier it was only one and a half hours.
More members:
Unlike earlier WhatsApp platforms can include more than 256 people. Company with new changes in WhatsApp. Now 512 people can join WhatsApp groups.
Status update:
New to the latest feature list is the optional ability to view status updates in the chat list. Similar to WhatsApp Stories, Status Updates allows WhatsApp users to post photos and videos within the app, which disappear after 24 hours.
As usual, WhatsApp hasn't offered any details on when these new features will be available to the public as they are being developed under its beta testers.
Last seen:
In the last major update, WhatsApp users got the ability to adjust their "last seen" status on a contact-by-contact basis and a way to silently leave group chats without notifying all group members when you leave the group.
2GB Data
Another important change is that files up to 2GB can be sent via WhatsApp. Earlier it was only possible to send files of 100 MB size. With the new change, you can send an entire movie in HD quality via WhatsApp.
Files sent in this way will be end-to-end encrypted. WhatsApp also says that it is better to use Wi-Fi when sending and downloading large files. You can also know how much time it takes to download.
We can decide how often we want to see the photos we send and set a timer when sending. All these changes will bring WhatsApp back to the forefront and everyone will be able to use WhatsApp Meta safely and securely.
