IRELAND: Ireland's fine summer is set for a bounce-back recovery after 48 hours of rain, with temperatures reaching 23C in some parts today.
Residents will be delighted with the forecast for two days of rain over the next 25 days, as August will enjoy plenty of sunshine and temperatures between 19C and 24C.
Thanks to the stable weather, an area of high pressure will slowly dominate the Irish weather for the next three weeks.
However, while Ireland will enjoy a stable climate and good sunshine, the country will not witness anything like the temperatures in England, where temperatures will once again reach 30°C for a few days in mid-August.
Farmers who have recently welcomed rain on their parched land must now prepare for another dry spell, according to long-range forecaster Accuweather, which only expects two days of continuous rain from tomorrow until August 26.
Over the course of the following week, there will be a few days with brief showers.
Galway, Clare, and Kerry were under a Status Yellow rainfall warning, which expires at midday today. According to Met Éireann, dry spells will predominate starting tomorrow.
It will be overcast today with sporadic showers. With midday showers becoming lighter and sporadic and high temperatures ranging from 18C in the west to 23C in the east, sunny spells will emerge.
Tomorrow will see a combination of sunny periods and light showers, with a high temperature range of 16 to 20 degrees Celsius.
With the exception of a few spotty showers in the west and northwest, Thursday will be dry for the majority of the day. Even though there will be some afternoon sunshine and highs between 16 and 18 degrees Celsius, it will feel cooler than recent days.
According to Met Éireann, current signs point to high pressure continuing to gradually build into the weekend, resulting in primarily dry and stable conditions.
