Dublin: Gardai are warning drivers about this crime which could see them lose their licenses. A subsequent drunk driving conviction may also result in the loss of your license. Just one drink could put you over the limit. This calculator by Drinkaware.ie tells you how long your body takes to process alcohol.
Here are just some examples of how long you should stay away from your car after having a few drinks.
Don't forget that the morning after a few drinks is usually the most dangerous time to drive.
