Today marks the launch of Artemis One, NASA's mission to return humans to the moon. The launch scheduled for August 29 has been postponed to today. Artemis will be launched from the Kennedy Space Center at 11:47 tonight.
The launch had to be postponed due to a leak in the fuel line. The countdown to the launch had started last Saturday. But due to the change in weather, about 7 lakhs had to be refilled. Meanwhile, a rupture was also found in the fuel line. Then the launch was postponed.
Instead of humans, Artemis One will feature dolls dressed in space suits. There will be a 7,700-kilogram capsule inside the 46-ton rocket. After launch, the rocket will arrive at the moon in 8 to 14 days.
