Delhi: The Civil Aviation Ministry said on Sunday that the self-declaration form to be filled by international passengers while traveling domestically on the Air Suvidha portal has now been discontinued. The revised measures will come into effect from 12 noon on November 22.
The government said this step was taken in view of the reduction in the number of coronavirus cases and the significant progress made in the Covid-19 vaccination coverage globally as well as in India.

"In light of the steady declining Covid-19 trajectory and significant improvement in Covid-19 vaccination coverage globally and in India, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has issued updated 'Guidelines for International Arrivals'," the aviation ministry tweeted.
"All travelers should be fully vaccinated according to the approved primary schedule of vaccination against Covid-19 in their country," the guidelines said.
Passengers found to be symptomatic during screening will be immediately isolated and taken to a designated medical facility as per health protocol. All passengers should monitor their health after arrival and report any symptoms to their nearest health center or call National Helpline number (1075) / State Helpline number.
Earlier, the Civil Aviation Ministry, as per its revised guidelines, made it not mandatory for passengers on board flights on domestic and international routes to wear masks. The revised guidelines state that it is preferable for all passengers to use masks/face covers, but there will be no penalty for passengers who do not wear masks on board.
