Dublin: Team India is coming to Ireland in August to excite the Indians in Ireland. The Indian team will visit Ireland in August 2023 to participate in the T20I series.
The Indian cricket team will play three matches in the month of August. The matches will be held in Dublin between August 18 and 23.
The Indian T20 team will face Ireland in a three-match T20 series in August this year, Cricket Ireland said in a statement on Friday. "Irish cricket fans will be able to enjoy watching India, the world's number one T20 international team, when the Asian juggernauts return to Malahide for a three-match T20I series this August," Cricket Ireland said in a statement. New T20 captain Hardik Pandya led the team in the two-match series at the same venue last year. With the 50-over World Cup looming, one wonders if the BCCI is likely to play Hardik in a series that will give little or no context to India's preparation for the ODI World Cup in India. But the August 18-23 series makes a lot of sense for the Irish board as it will make the broadcast revenue more financially stable. "The summer of 2023 will be a feast for men's cricket, but will look very different to the usual for fans. We can confirm that India will visit Ireland for the second year in a row and confirm that the World Cup Super League series against Bangladesh will take place in early May. This is ahead of the upcoming Test match at Lord's in June and the three-match ODI series against England in September." Cricket Ireland Chief Executive Warren Deutrom said.
Indians can once again watch Team India play like last year, when Dublin's Malahide Stadium witnessed two thrilling matches between India and Ireland. This time too the matches will be there. No further details are known
