Dublin: The Met has forecast that Ireland will have clear weather due to high pressure until next weekend.

TONIGHT

Tonight will be mainly dry with clear spells. Lowest temperatures of 3 to 6 degrees in a light variable breeze.

TOMORROW - Tuesday 16th May

Mainly dry with sunny spells. Highest temperatures of 14 to 18 degrees in light to moderate northwest winds. 

Temperatures are expected to reach 20 degrees Celsius. Temperatures are expected to reach 18 degrees Celsius in some areas by Wednesday.

Mostly dry and clear overnight with chance of isolated light rain. Low temperature will be 4 to 8 degree Celsius with light northwest wind.

Tuesday will be sunny. Widespread showers are likely in northern parts. Moderate north westerly winds are likely. The maximum temperature will be 13 to 17 degree Celsius and the minimum temperature will be 5 to 8 degree Celsius during the night.

Wednesday will also be a dry day. Isolated light rain is also expected. Slight south-westerly winds will also prevail. High temperature will be 14 to 18 degrees.

The western part of the country will be cloudy on Thursday. There is also a chance of small amounts of rain. In the afternoon, there will be widespread rain along the Atlantic coast. The highest temperature will be 15 to 18 degrees.

Friday will also start with cloudy skies and rain, but the afternoon will give way to sunshine and light rain. The maximum temperature will be 13 to 17 degrees.
