New Delhi: So far 12 deaths have been reported in various states in North India. Heavy rains, floods and landslides continue. Thousands of pilgrims who were stranded on their way to the cave temple in Jammu and various other places were rescued and shifted to safe places after landslides occurred at several places in Jammu during the second consecutive day of incessant rain.
A 58-year-old woman died after the ceiling of her flat collapsed in Delhi. Four people died in rains in Rajasthan. A woman and her six-year-old daughter died after their house collapsed in Uttar Pradesh's Muzaffarnagar due to heavy rains.
