To apply for a visa to the India Young Professionals Scheme you need to provide a ballot.
The next ballot will open on 25 July 2023 at 1:30 PM IST and close on 27 July 2023 at 1:30 PM IST. You can enter at any time while the ballot is open. The link to enter will be on this page.
To enter the ballot
You can enter the ballot if you are an Indian citizen and you are eligible for the India Young Professionals Scheme visa. Check your eligibility before entering the ballot
You will need to provide the following:
- name
- Date of Birth
- Passport details
- A scan or photograph of your passport
- phone number
- email address
Successful entries will be selected at random. Results will be emailed to you within 2 weeks of ballot closing.
Entering the ballot is free. If you wish to apply for a visa which costs £259, you must enter only if you can meet the financial, educational and other requirements.
3,000 seats available for India Young Professionals Scheme Visa 2023. Most of the seats are on the February ballot. The remaining seats will be awarded on the July ballot.
You may submit only one entry per person per ballot. Further login attempts will not be counted.
Successful entries
If you win the ballot, you will be invited to apply for a visa. You have 30 days from the date of receipt of the email to apply online and pay the visa application fee and immigration health surcharge. If you win the ballot but decide not to apply for a visa, you don't need to tell any.
Unsuccessful entries
The result of the poll is final. If you fail you cannot appeal. If you fail you can enter future ballots.
