Is your Student Leap Card about to expire?
If you are between 19 and 23 years of age, you can now apply for a Young Adult Leap Card, so you can continue to avail of the 50% fare reductions. You can apply for it and it will be posted out to you.
If you are under 19 or over 24 and you’re still in third level education, you can apply for the new Student Leap Card after the 21st August 2023. You can apply for it but you’ll need to attend a Student Leap Card agent with proof that you are a student to collect your card. Please make sure you check agent opening times before you travel.
The new Student Leap Card will be available from 21st August 2023. This card will have expiry of 30-Sept-2024. You can apply online after 21st August and then bring your Student ID to an agent to collect your card.
