Television license fee sales fell by €2.7 million; People are still reluctant to pay

Television license fee sales fell by €2.7 million in July. Figures provided by the Media Department showed that license fee sales continued to decline in the last week of the month, with 3,490 fewer licenses sold. In the four weeks of July, 297 fewer licenses were sold.

The provider's statement notes that "TV license revenue is collapsing and 1,800 people are employed by RTE".
