Belfast: Miss. Donna Jibu (16) , daughter of Jibu Thomas and BIny Jibu,(Kalapillil, House, Kerala) residents of Derry, Northern Ireland, has passed away.

Jibu and his family basically from kerala state, only one reason, to come to UK to get Dona's treatment. As no other option, directly to reach UK for her daughters treatment as the innocent family struggled, payed lots of money to the agency, to get parents carer visa. Now Jibu and his family are overwhelmed by the fate of the 16-year-old daughter

Jibu, who was living in Bahrain, had only one desire in his mind to save the child from death since he learned about his daughter Donna's illness.

After listening to the words of the doctors that UK is the best place to get the most expert treatment for her daughter's disease, Jibu and her family came to the UK by paying the money they didn't have and getting a carer visa through the agency.

The family sought ways to reach the UK and arranged for the child to receive specialist treatment at a Bristol hospital. Here Donna was brought back to life with stem cell treatment.

Six months ago, Donna came back with a smile after the treatment, and as part of her follow-up treatment, she would come for check-ups every two weeks. Until recently, all tests were reported as complete successes.

But lastly, when he came for the examination last day, some variations were found in the blood. By the time doctors took over, Donna had contracted pneumonia. Finally, as the rapidly spreading infection could not be controlled by the drugs, the child's death yesterday came to his parents and loved ones with great pain.

The NHS has been with 16-year-old Donna since she was first reported ill by her family in Londonderry, Belfast, providing all possible treatment. But the cruel wave of fate took the child's life yesterday. The body remains at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast.

Although it has not been long since they arrived in the UK, they are well-known to everyone. They are residents of Derry in Northern Ireland and natives of Thattaratta, Nadukandam, Thodupuzha and Kerala State.

No further information is known about the funeral service. The family's initial indication is that the child's body should be brought home. The Londonderry Indian Association workers have taken up the idea of how to help the family
