A phone call on a mobile, as usual, is a family's monthly income that is not lost because of the last suspicion...!! There are many things that can be done by pinching the income earned from working in Ireland and keeping it in the bank for every need. But sometimes what you loose in a single call is .. "loss of income and peace of life".

In one afternoon, Blessy (not her real name)  got a mobile phone call, a young woman in her family who had just arrived from India in Ireland. As usual, the customer care department of Revolut Bank, as the call came from the bank, did not know that this was for all the trouble when he hurriedly attended to things.

The girl's name was confirmed after searching for information. Also highlighted a problem with a transaction and said that if it is not stopped immediately, the entire money in the account will go to a bank in America. 

The young lady, who had a good amount of money in the bank, believed things. As the guy from customer care said, he acted in a frenzy at the time. He asked me to press 1 on the mobile. Then when it was done according to their demand. The server asked to download the application. 

After downloading the bank application anydesk.adcontrol.ad1 from Playstore as new, the new application works as bank application server (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.anydesk.adcontrol.ad1) of the lady. It was also possible to change the mobile phone settings of the young lady so that they could easily access it and make it accessible to callers.

In the meantime, "when I heard that you need to transfer cash on your mobile phone through the Transfer Wise app and it should be in rupees", the young woman and her family barely managed to switch off their mobile phones and sit without losing the cash. The woman then transferred all the cash except 10 euros to another account and escaped for the time being.

However, installing new apps like this will stay on that mobile and be accessible when they get the internet again. So once the problem occurs the mobile needs to be formatted and reinstalled to avoid preinstalled software by strangers. Be careful, do what the bank tells you, don't tell them over the phone. Contact the bank. Never call and ask for bank matters. Or contact the Gardai for help.
