The DMC All Ireland Chess Tournament – Season 2, organised by DMC, will be held on Saturday, 17 October 2026, in Dundalk, Co. Louth. The tournament will take place from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm.
The competition will be conducted in two categories: Adults (16 years and above) and Kids (15 years and below).
The registration fee is €20 for the Kids category and €30 for the Adults category.
In the Adults category, the winner will receive €400 and a trophy, while the runner-up will receive €200 and a trophy. The third-place finisher will also receive a trophy.
In the Kids category, the winner will receive €250 and a trophy, while the runner-up will receive €150 and a trophy. The third-place finisher will also receive a trophy.
Registration for the tournament is now open. Organisers have requested those interested in participating to register as early as possible. Places are limited, and participants are encouraged to register early to secure their place.
