The Fine Gael Party's Dublin South West Constituency Party member Aju Samuelkutty has presented a proposal to reduce the Irish residence permit fee from €300 to €100 to ease the financial burden on immigrants and international students at a Fine Gael party meeting in Galway, Ireland, attended by Irish Prime Minister Simon Harris and Justice Minister Helen McEntee.

Justice Minister Helen McEntee responded to the speech by saying that the matter would be raised in the upcoming session of Parliament and appropriate action would be taken.
