Large crowds gathered at the Garden of Remembrance in the north inner city this afternoon ahead of a march down O'Connell Street to the Custom House. Videos and photographs from the march show a large crowd holding a variety of placards and signs marching down O'Connell Street.
The nationalists, holding Irish flags, chanted 'ole, ole, ole, ole' at one point. They held up signs reading "Out, Out, Out", "Our Streets", "Ireland is for the Irish", "Irish Civil Rights", "Stop the WHO Pandemic Agreement", "Mass Deportations", "Economic Migrants Not Refugees", and "Irish Lives Matter". . The protest took the roads of countries including India on a big banner.
Local groups from Coolock and Newtownmountkennedy, where there have been recent protests against the buildings being used to house international asylum seekers, were also represented at today's march.
In Ireland white nationalist 'Great Replacement' conspiracy theorists used the word "plantation" to refer to settler buildings and campsites. Several far-right political parties and individuals were present, with protesters marching behind National Party banners and representatives of other parties addressing the crowd.

Some Dublin bus routes were diverted while there were some delays on the Luas Red and Green lines due to the protests. Eleven people were arrested after anti-immigration protests and counter-protests in Dublin city centre. All public transport services have returned to normal operation.
And an anti-abortion demonstration took place in Dublin today as crowds turned out to campaign against Ireland's abortion laws. The event in Molesworth Street was attended by many people from the pro-life campaign.
