West Asia to widespread war; 100s of Iran's Missiles to Israel; Indian Embassy adviced "should move to bunker"

Tehran: Iran fired hundreds of missiles at Israel on Tuesday, hours after a US official warned it was preparing to launch an "imminent ballistic missile attack".

The Indian Embassy issued a warning to Indians in Israel. It has been informed that they should avoid unnecessary travel, be ready to move to shelters, and are in constant contact with the Israeli authorities. The US Embassy in Israel has instructed the staff to be ready to move to safe bunkers. Israel's airports are closed. Air traffic has been suspended in Jordan. 

Two US Navy destroyers fired about a dozen interceptors against Iranian missiles aimed at Israel, the Pentagon said.

Iran said the attack was in response to an Israeli airstrike that killed Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah and Iranian Brigadier General Abbas Nilforushan last week, and Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in a bombing in Tehran in July.

Iran has launched a massive missile attack targeting areas across Israel that are at risk of a wider war in the Middle East. Israelis moved into bomb shelters, air raid sirens blared and explosions could be heard over Tel Aviv.

Israel states that this move will continue in parallel with the fighting in Gaza. Meanwhile, Israel continues to carry out heavy airstrikes in areas including Beirut, the capital of Lebanon. Hezbollah said it carried out six airstrikes in Beirut within hours, prompting the evacuation of local residents.

Israel's surgical strike is advancing by attacking three countries at the same time. Apart from Gaza and Lebanon, Israel is also carrying out extensive bombing in Yemen, which is the base of the Houthis. It is reported that many people have been killed in all three places.

Israeli attacks continue to target Hezbollah bases in Lebanon, power plants and ports in Yemen, and Hamas hideouts in Gaza.  In Yemen, the oil storages attached to the ports of Hudaydah and Ras al-Isa were destroyed in the bombing. Four deaths have been confirmed. More than forty people were injured.

The Gaza Ministry of Health has confirmed the death of four people in an attack in Deir al-Balah, northern Gaza. With this, the number of people killed in the Israeli attack in Gaza has reached 41,615. 96,359 people were injured.
