Aarav Hanoi, a resident of Kannur, who allegedly fled after fatally stabbing a young woman from Assam in Bengaluru, has been missing for three days, according to authorities.
Bengaluru City Police Commissioner B. Dayanand announced that two dedicated investigation teams have been formed to track down Aarav. One team is focusing on locations within Bengaluru city, while the other is pursuing leads on his possible escape routes.
Surveillance footage from numerous CCTV cameras near the Majestic railway station—where Aarav was last seen—is being analyzed. However, police efforts to gather crucial information from Aarav's residence in Thottada, Kannur, have so far been unsuccessful. His grandfather, the sole occupant of the house and a cancer patient, could not provide any relevant details.
Preliminary investigations suggest that romantic rivalry or personal differences may have led to the murder of Maya Gogoi, with whom Aarav had been in a relationship for the past six months. Maya had confided in her sister about the relationship, and an examination of her phone revealed hours of conversations and chats with Aarav, including instances of conflict.
Evidence indicates Aarav turned off his phone after arriving at Majestic Railway Station, following his departure from a service apartment in Indiranagar. Meanwhile
