Warehouse Operatives
The Specifics:
· Monday to Friday
· Full-Time contract
· Warehouse experience preferential but not essential as full training is provided.
Due to the nature of our business, our Warehouse Operative role is fast-paced and exciting. No two days are the same with deliveries of new stock arriving at the Warehouse daily.
Warehouse Operative Responsibilities:
Ensure smooth running of day-to-day deliveries and receivables.
Ensure safety precautions including pallets and trucks are followed at all times.
Counting items on pallets when it is received and scanning.
Ensure pallets are counted correctly and then split out per count per store Nationwide.
General housekeeping to ensure all cardboard and plastic are put into compacters and that the floor is kept tidy.

Sales assistant / Responsibilities include:
- Packing out stock on shelves, facing off displays to ensure they look well, replenishing/filling gaps, stock rotation if working with food items.
- Providing friendly welcomes & assistance to all Mr. Price customers at all times.
- Operating tills, carrying out cashier duties.
- Providing the highest possible standard of customer service at all times.
- Maximizing sales by providing customers with info on our special offers.
- Responsible for the general upkeep and cleanliness of shop floor and other areas.
- A friendly, approachable and personable manner.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Excellent time-keeping and attendance record.
- Flexibility and willingness to provide assistance to management in terms of hours and availability. May be required to work early mornings, late nights, weekends, & bank holidays.
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment is desirable but not essential.

- Stock Controller Role Involves
- Working as part of the management team with the Store Manager / Assistant and Duty Managers. Responsible for opening and closure of store.
- Processing and checking daily deliveries.
- Ensuring deliveries are processed in a timely and organised manner.
- Managing the stock room and ensuring stock levels in the store that they are continuously monitored.
- Reporting delivery discrepancies & incorrect deliveries to relevant personnel in-store and HQ.
- Adhering to safety & security policies whilst carrying out all duties.
- Maintaining cleanliness of the stock room at all times
- Full-Time contract
- Flexible working week 5 out of 7 days
Assistant Manager Role Involves
- Assisting Store Manager in the daily management duties of the store.
- Visually ensuring the store looks great and is operating to company standards at all times.
- Communicating merchandising plans to the store team.
- Shop opening and closing procedures.
- Helping lead the team and encourage team morale.
- Ensuring high store standards of cleanliness, merchandising and compliance with health & safety.
- Cash handling & till operation.
