New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate from the New Delhi assembly constituency, Parvesh Verma, has pledged to clean the Yamuna river and develop a riverfront on par with Ahmedabad’s Sabarmati Riverfront. Speaking at a campaign event, Verma criticized the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government, accusing it of failing to fulfill its promise to clean the Yamuna despite being in power for over a decade.
