New Delhi, February 25: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led government in Delhi, under Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, is set to present 14 reports by the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) in the Delhi Assembly on Tuesday. These reports, expected to expose financial mismanagement during the previous Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) administration, will be tabled on the second day of the eighth legislative session.
Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva described the CAG findings as a "list of AAP’s black deeds." Speaking to ANI, he stated, “We had assured the people of Delhi during the elections that those responsible for corruption would be held accountable. Today, as the Lieutenant Governor (LG) delivers his address, the CAG report will reveal the truth.”
Delhi Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa also weighed in, claiming that the AAP government had deliberately withheld the CAG reports for the past three years. “These reports expose the scams of Arvind Kejriwal’s government. He kept them hidden because they would uncover the loot and corruption that took place under his administration. Now, one by one, all 14 reports will be presented in the Assembly,” he asserted.
Echoing similar sentiments, Delhi Minister Ravinder Indraj Singh remarked, “The AAP-led government has left behind a disastrous legacy. Several of its ministers have been jailed, and now a comprehensive CAG report covering all ministries will lay bare their misdeeds.”
The reports will be presented following the Lieutenant Governor’s address, after which the Assembly will proceed with the motion of thanks. Discussions on the motion are scheduled to begin at 11:00 AM on February 26, followed by the election of the Deputy Speaker of the Delhi Assembly.

According to sources, the reports include extensive audits and performance assessments of various government programs and financial accounts. The delay in their presentation had raised concerns over transparency and accountability in the AAP-led Delhi NCT government.
The reports to be tabled include:

Additionally, four reports are Finance and Appropriation Accounts prepared by the Controller of Accounts of the Delhi government for FY 2021-22 and 2022-23.
With these reports expected to shed light on alleged irregularities, the political discourse in the Delhi Assembly is set to intensify, as the BJP government takes steps to scrutinize the fiscal management of its predecessor.
