Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh — In a significant show of solidarity, Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan on Friday publicly endorsed Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, particularly lauding his firm stance following the recent Pahalgam terror attack. The remarks came during a major public event attended by PM Modi and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, where infrastructure projects worth ₹58,000 crore were launched and inaugurated.
Describing the Pahalgam attack as “the darkest day for the entire nation,” Kalyan said, “Blood was spilled in Kashmir, sending shockwaves across the country. I have seen and felt the pain of the victims firsthand.”
He added that the Prime Minister had offered reassurance and resolve in the face of national grief. “Honourable PM Modi is steering the country through these difficult times and has promised decisive action against those responsible for acts of terror,” Kalyan stated.
He further praised Modi for “bearing the nation’s burdens with fortitude,” commending his continued leadership amid growing regional and national challenges.
Naidu Affirms Unwavering Support
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu also delivered a strong endorsement of the Prime Minister’s leadership during the gathering. “We are with you. All of Andhra is with you. The entire nation stands with you,” Naidu said, underscoring his government's support for the Centre’s anti-terror stance.
Reflecting on a recent meeting in Delhi following the Pahalgam attack, Naidu said he saw “visible grief” in the Prime Minister. “Our usually cheerful exchange was subdued. The sorrow was evident on his face,” he recalled.
Despite the tragic backdrop, Naidu emphasized that Modi’s presence at Friday’s event demonstrated his “unwavering commitment to national duties.” He affirmed full support for “strong and necessary decisions to counter terrorism.”
Nara Lokesh: ‘Modi is the Missile that Strikes Back’
Adding to the chorus of support, Andhra Minister Nara Lokesh hailed Prime Minister Modi as the “Architect of Bharat” and described him as a formidable force against Pakistan. “Even if a hundred Pakistanis unite, they cannot uproot even a single blade of grass on Indian soil,” he declared to loud applause.
Lokesh claimed Pakistan’s military was in disarray, “shaken and resigning out of fear,” and credited Modi’s leadership for ensuring India’s “security, pride, and unshakable strength.”
He also applauded the Centre’s recent decision to conduct a nationwide caste census, calling it a “historic and courageous initiative” that had been long deferred by previous administrations. “It is yet another example of PM Modi’s decisive and inclusive governance,” he concluded.
