India Launches Global Diplomatic Offensive Against Terrorism: Delegations Arrive in UAE and Japan, Gain Support

NEW DELHI/ABU DHABI/TOKYO, May 22:In a major diplomatic push following Operation Sindoor, India has deployed seven multi-party delegations across the globe to expose Pakistan’s continued sponsorship of terrorism. The first delegations, led by Shiv Sena MP Shrikant Shinde and JD(U) MP Sanjay Jha, arrived in the United Arab Emirates and Japan, respectively, on Thursday. Their mission marks the beginning of India’s global outreach campaign aimed at building international consensus against terrorism.

UAE Voices Solidarity with India

The delegation in the UAE, led by MP Shrikant Shinde, held a series of high-level meetings with Emirati officials, including Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahyan. The discussions underscored shared concerns about extremism and affirmed India-UAE cooperation on counter-terrorism. According to sources, UAE officials expressed unequivocal support, stating: “Islam does not teach the killing of innocent civilians.”

The Indian team comprises MPs from across the political spectrum, including Bansuri Swaraj and Atul Garg (BJP), Manan Kumar Mishra (Rajya Sabha), ET Mohammed Basheer (Indian Union Muslim League), Sasmit Patra (Biju Janata Dal), and BJP leader SS Ahluwalia. The delegation also includes former diplomat Sujan Chinoy, underlining the strategic and bipartisan nature of the outreach.

Japan Reaffirms Support for India’s Counter-Terrorism Stance

Simultaneously, the delegation in Japan, led by JD(U)’s Sanjay Jha, engaged with senior Japanese officials including Foreign Minister Takeshi Iwaya. Tokyo reiterated its commitment to global peace and security, with Minister Iwaya stating, “In this fight against terrorism, Japan stands firmly with India.”

The briefings in Japan were aimed at contextualizing India’s recent counter-terrorism operations and rallying international support for New Delhi’s stance against cross-border terror networks emanating from Pakistan.

EAM Jaishankar: Operation Sindoor Will Continue

Addressing the media on Thursday, External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar reiterated India’s firm resolve to act decisively against terrorism. “Operation Sindoor is not over. Should another attack like Pahalgam occur, India will not hesitate to respond swiftly and target terror infrastructure, regardless of where it operates from,” he said.

PM Modi: Delegations to Expose Pakistan’s True Face

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, speaking at a rally in Rajasthan—the first since the launch of Operation Sindoor—delivered a strong message to Islamabad. “Pakistan knows it cannot defeat India in direct combat, so it resorts to terrorism. But that game is over. India will expose the truth globally,” he declared.

He further emphasized that the seven multi-party delegations are engaging with international partners to lay bare the extent of Pakistan’s complicity in fostering terrorism. “Their mission is clear: to tell the world the truth about Pakistan’s double game,” the Prime Minister said.
