3. Har Gobind Khorana (1968 – Medicine)

4. Mother Teresa (1979 – Peace)

5. Subrahmanyan Chandrasekhar (1983 – Physics)

7. Venkatraman Ramakrishnan (2009 – Chemistry)
Venkatraman Ramakrishnan shared the Nobel Prize in Chemistry for his work on the structure and function of the ribosome — a discovery that deepened scientific understanding of protein synthesis at the molecular level.

8. Kailash Satyarthi (2014 – Peace)
A tireless advocate for children’s rights, Kailash Satyarthi received the Nobel Peace Prize for his relentless campaign against child labor and for universal access to education. His work has liberated thousands of children from exploitation and given them a path to dignity.

9. Abhijit Banerjee (2019 – Economics)
Abhijit Banerjee, along with Esther Duflo and Michael Kremer, was awarded the Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences for his experimental approach to alleviating global poverty. His innovative research methods have reshaped modern development economics.

The Shared Honor with Malala Yousafzai

In 2014, Kailash Satyarthi shared the Nobel Peace Prize with Malala Yousafzai, the youngest Nobel laureate in history, for their joint struggle against the oppression of children and for the right of every child to education. Their recognition stands as a powerful symbol of hope and resilience across South Asia.
