Three Women Submit Pen Drive to Police Alleging Sexual Exploitation by Wealthy Businessmen

Lucknow| March 25 : Three women have submitted a pen drive to the police containing alleged video evidence of their sexual exploitation by a group of affluent businessmen. The victims claim they were deceived under the pretext of employment opportunities and subjected to months of abuse and blackmail.

According to the police complaint, the accused allegedly forced the women to consume alcohol and smoke, stripped them naked, and filmed them while assaulting them. The victims further alleged that they were threatened with the circulation of the videos if they refused to comply or attempted to report the abuse.

“They told us they would make the videos viral and kill us if we disobeyed,” one of the survivors stated in her complaint. “Many other women have suffered the same fate but are too afraid to come forward for fear of defamation,” she added.

Questions Raised Over Police Response

Concerns have been raised regarding the handling of the case by local law enforcement. Sources allege that the police delayed action for nearly two days after the initial report was filed and did not conduct immediate medical examinations, which in turn delayed the recording of the victims’ statements in court.

The City Superintendent of Police has since taken over the investigation, assuring a transparent inquiry.

Accused Identified as Businessmen and a Contractor

The three women — who have been close friends since their inter-college days — filed a First Information Report (FIR) at the city police station on March 22, naming Ashish Agarwal, Swatantra Sahu, and Lokendra Singh Chandel, all identified as local businessmen, along with a contractor, as the primary accused.

They allege that the men lured them with job offers and later sexually exploited them for nearly six months. The women also named Naveen Kumar, a resident of Aliganj, who allegedly introduced them to the accused and failed to support them when approached for help.

“We trusted them because they promised to help us find work,” the women said. “But after two months, we realized they were only using us for physical exploitation. When we tried to distance ourselves, they blackmailed us with the videos they had secretly recorded.”

Caste-Based Abuse Allegation Included in Complaint

In their written statement, one of the survivors, who belongs to a Scheduled Caste, alleged that she was subjected to caste-based insults and verbal abuse by the accused.

The police have confirmed receipt of the complaint and said that all digital evidence submitted — including the pen drive — will be examined by forensic experts. Further investigations are ongoing.
