Hyderabad: New revelations have emerged following the arrest of a doctor, identified as Syed Moyuddin, from Rajendra Nagar, Hyderabad, on suspicion of terrorist links. The Gujarat Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) apprehended Moyuddin and is currently interrogating him to uncover details about his network and plans.
According to investigating officials, Moyuddin was reportedly producing resin containing highly toxic substances, allegedly intended for use in a mass poisoning plot. Preliminary findings suggest that he planned to contaminate temple premises and public water reservoirs to cause widespread casualties. The Gujarat ATS has seized a significant quantity of materials used for the preparation of these toxins from his possession.
Investigators further revealed that Moyuddin was acting under instructions from a Pakistan-based handler. Digital evidence establishing his communication and coordination with the handler has reportedly been recovered.
Moyuddin, who studied medicine in China, returned to Hyderabad, where he offered online medical consultations. Along with him, four others have also been detained in connection with the case. The Special Investigation Team (SIT) is now interrogating him to extract more information about his associates and the extent of the conspiracy.
Following Moyuddin’s arrest and the Red Fort blast incident, security measures have been significantly heightened across Hyderabad. With polling underway in Jubilee Hills, police have intensified security checks and deployed additional forces to ensure public safety.
