PEI: Varkey Peter (22), a Kerlite migrant from Canada who was working in Prince Edward Island, passed away in Moncton. Initial information is that he died in his sleep.
Varkey Peter is the son of Varkey Peter and Bindu Peter of Anjanavel, Olamattom, Thodupuzha, Idukki.(Kerala) Varkey Peter, who had come to Moncton with friends for Christmas celebrations, was found dead there. The initial conclusion is that the cause of death was a heart attack that occurred in his sleep.
Varkey's passing has left the expatriate community and his family in Olamattam, Kerala saddened. A GoFundMe campaign has been launched for the deceased Varkey Peter.
It is the great desire of the family to bring the mortal remains of Varkey, a common family member, back home and see him for the last time. However, the family is unable to find the huge amount to bring the body back home from Canada. A huge amount is required for legal procedures and travel expenses.
