A self-proclaimed Vedic astrologer has drawn widespread attention on social media after claiming that India may launch a military attack on Pakistan on March 21, 2026. The prediction, shared in a viral video, has sparked intense debate online, with many viewers criticising the post for spreading fear and speculation.
The woman, who identifies herself as a Vedic astrologer and Vastu expert, made the claim against the backdrop of rising geopolitical tensions in the Middle East following joint strikes by the United States and Israel on Iran.
In the video, she urged people to prepare for possible instability, advising viewers to stock up on essential supplies.
“Please get ready with some liquid cash, medicines, a solar charger for your phone, and food supplies for at least one to two months. After Iran, it will be Pakistan’s turn,” she said.
According to her prediction, Pakistan could face pressure from both sides. She suggested that Afghanistan may exert pressure from the west while India could potentially move from the east. She further claimed that her astrological calculations indicate March 21, 2026 as the date when such an attack could occur.
The astrologer linked her prediction to a series of astrological configurations, including Rikta Tithi, the end of Ramadan, and the beginning of Navratri on March 19. She said planetary positions—particularly the placement of Mercury, Rahu and Mars forming Angarak Yog, along with a conjunction of the Sun, Saturn, Neptune and Venus—create what she described as an ominous astrological alignment under Scorpio Lagna in Jyeshta Nakshatra.
She also referred to astrological factors connected to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, claiming that planetary periods associated with Mars could influence national events. The astrologer concluded with the assertion that the date might become historically significant and could mark the beginning of territorial changes, including the possible return of Pakistan-administered Kashmir to India.
Online Reactions
The video quickly circulated across social media platforms, drawing mixed reactions from viewers. While some expressed curiosity, many users criticised the prediction and accused the astrologer of spreading unnecessary alarm.
One commenter wrote, “Everyone is trying to prove that their prediction is the best, so many astrologers are posting such videos.” Another user urged restraint, saying, “Don’t say anything that scares people… for God’s sake.”
Others argued that such content is often created primarily to gain online views and engagement rather than to provide meaningful insight. “Everyone is copying each other to create viral content. There is no point in spreading panic when no one has control over such events,” one comment read.
Several viewers also questioned the ethics of making dramatic geopolitical predictions based on astrology, urging content creators to avoid spreading fear and negativity on social media.
