The annual diplomatic gathering, which stands as a central pillar for the estimated 80,000-strong Indian community in Ireland, will feature traditional ceremonial honors alongside a showcase of diverse cultural performances.

Flag hoisting and safety instructions
The official ceremonies will begin at 10:00 AM (IST) on August 15th at the premises of the Indian Embassy, 69 Merrion Road, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4 .After the hoisting of the national flag by embassy officials, the message addressed to the nation by the Honorable President of India will be read out at the ceremony. This will be followed by a variety of traditional Indian music and dance performances by local diaspora groups.Considering diplomatic security standards and limited space on the embassy premises, advance digital registration is strictly mandatory for those wishing to attend the ceremony .Interested persons can secure their entry in advance through the Embassy of India Independence Day Registration Form.
