Death 15: Search and rescue operation underway at Amarnathji shrine

JAMMU AND KASHMIR : A multi-agency look and protect operation is underway taking after yesterday’s cloudburst at Shri Amarnathji Sanctum in Jammu and Kashmir. Look and protect operations are being carried out by J&K Police, NDRF, ITBP and Armed force personnel. 

 The cloudburst, which happened final evening, driven to streak surge close the sacred cave holy place of Shri Amarnathji. Water came from over and sides of the cave after overwhelming downpours at the upper comes to. The number of fatalities within the wake of the occurrence has presently risen to 15. The perished incorporate seven men and six ladies whereas other two bodies are however to be identified.

 According to a order, the Chief Medical Officers of south Kashmir districts i.e. Pulwama, Kulgam, Shopian and Anantnag have been coordinated to send extra specialists and paramedical staff in conjunction with drugs, disposables and crisis help units to Pahalgam where as the Chief Restorative Officers of North & Central Kashmir have been coordinated to send extra specialists and paramedical staff beside drugs, disposables and crisis help units to Baltal. 

 In expansion, In-Charge Controller of Stores (HEALTH)  is coordinated to arrange with General Manager JKMSCL Srinagar for keeping crisis supplies prepared to be dispatched to Baltal and Pahalgam promptly in consultation with the Yatra Officer.
