Rome: The diplomatic dispute between US President Donald Trump and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has become a major international debate.
Trump has sparked fresh controversy after Giorgia Meloni repeatedly claimed he was Kenji during the G7 summit in France, asking for a photo with her to boost his popularity. But the Italian prime minister responded strongly to Trump's personal insults. Meloni said Trump should not worry about his popularity and that he should mind his own business.
Trump made harsh accusations against Meloni through his social media platform, Truth Social. Trump argued that Meloni's popularity in Italy was in a very bad state and that this was due to her failure to support US efforts to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons.
