Dublin: A sumptuous Onasadya with papad, fruit and stew. Onapookalam, the symbol of opulence. Ponnonam has come to Swords again this time with a tug-of-war competition Chendamelam, various competitions for children and adults, and many attractive programs presented by the artists and artists of Swords.
The festivities begin on Saturday, September 10 at 11.30 a.m. in the Old Borough School Auditorium. In the presence of Lord Mahabali, Minister Dara O'Brien, Councilors Dara Butler and Brigitte Mantone will formally launch the Onam festivities.
The organizers said that all Swords Malayalis are welcome to the Onam celebrations irrespective of caste, religion and colour.
