Portlaoise: Due to some technical issues in air cargo, Devi Prabha's funeral will be held on Saturday, October 29 at 1.00 pm, family members said. The funeral services were supposed to take place tomorrow.
The funeral of Devi (38), at native of Kottayam Pampadi, Kerala state will be held in the country on the coming days. She will be brought home by Qatar Airways. Then after prayers and other ceremonies, the funeral will be held on Saturday at 1.00 pm at the residence (Pampadi, Kanjirakad, Kaitamatam) of her husband Sriraj.
Devi Prabha (38), a Malayali from Ireland and is a native of Kottayam. Devi Prabha and her family moved from Bir to Port Leash two years ago.
Devi Prabha was admitted to Portlaoise Hospital a week ago due to illness. After the exact cause of the disease could not be found, she was later transferred to Tullamore General Hospital. Even there, the cause of the disease could not be found, and the treatment continued on the ventilator in Tullamore Hospital. Devi, who was undergoing treatment at the ICU, died of a heart attack on Wednesday afternoon.
