Additionally, the recommendations indicated that children under the age of 12 are exempt from post-arrival random testing. If a kid exhibits Covid-related symptoms upon arrival or while self-monitoring, they are simply required to submit to testing in accordance with procedure.
Recently, the Union government reinstated policies concerning Covid testing at airports for visitors from abroad. In light of a sharp increase in cases in China, samples of people travelling from other countries are being randomly tested for the coronavirus.
Additionally, due to the continued global increase in Covid cases, RT-PCR tests are now required for all foreign travellers arriving from China, Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, and Thailand. Any traveller from these nations who exhibits symptoms or tests positive for Covid will be placed in quarantine.
International travellers travelling from these nations are also need to fill out the Air Suvidha forms that demonstrate their current health status. A self-declaration form called Air Suvidha was established as part of the Covid preventive strategy and was designed to help with contact tracking during the epidemic. All visitors to India are currently required to have it.
