Kerala: It was learned that the young women from Meenadam and Vakathanam in kerala state reached Vietnam on work visas through an agency in Kottayam district and were cheated after going there.
They were not getting the salary or other benefits as stated by the agency and were facing difficulties even for accommodation and food. In the meantime, the visa expires and according to the law of Vietnam, they cannot even go outside and then other services are not available.
In this situation, the parents of the young girls contacted the district leadership of the BJP and then the district president Shri Lijinlal brought it to the attention of the External Affairs Minister Shri V Muraleedharan, who instructed the Ministry of External Affairs to complete the procedures quickly and then brought the young women home last day.
