Information is collected on supra-thermal energetic ions and electrons. ISRO also stated that this information will help in analyzing the behavior of particles around the Earth.
The Aditya L1 solar probe was launched on PSLV-C57 rocket from Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota on September 2. The spacecraft will leave Earth's orbit tomorrow.
