New Delhi ∙ The story is changing as the Lawrence Bishnoi gang has come forward claiming responsibility for Sukha Dunke's murder. Sukhdul's killing also comes as the controversy surrounding the killing of Khalistan Tiger Force (KTF) chief Nijjar in Canada continues. Nijjar was killed on June 18.

The Bishnoi gang has come forward with the claim that they were the ones who killed Dhunke, accusing them of involvement in the murders of Gurlal Brar and Vicky.

Siddu Moosawala was killed on May 29, 2022. Congress leader and Punjabi singer Siddu Moosawala was reportedly shot dead by a Bishnoi gang. There was a Facebook post on Bishnoi's behalf saying that the murder of Vicky and Goldie Brar's cousin Gurlal Brar was a substitute for the murder. All the murders now point to this.
Bishnoi – Bambiha 'gang war' should be considered again. The rivalry between the two is years old. In 2016, a notorious gang leader of North India, Devinder Bambiha, was killed in an encounter in Bhatinda district. The Bambiha group was bitterly enmity with the Bishnoi group. Dunke belongs to Devinder Bambiha's gang.
Bishnoi accused Sukha Dunke of being behind the murder of Bishnoi gang members Gurlal Brar and Vicky. The Bishnoi group also alleged that Dunke was at the helm of the murder of Sandeep Nangal. The Bishnoi gang has also warned that no matter which country they hide in, they will not spare those who collaborated to kill their comrades. The Bishnoi group wrote on Facebook that Sukha Dunke was a drug addict, that he had killed many people and that he had now been 'punished for his sins'.

Sukhdul Singh alias Sukhdul Singh from Moga district of Punjab immigrated to Canada in 2017. Sukhdul was an associate of Khalistan terrorist Arshdeep Singh aka Arsh Dala. He has about seven criminal cases in his name in India. However, he entered Canada on a fake passport with police clearance. It is reported that he was killed on Wednesday night in Winnipeg, Canada.

Lawrence Bishnoi is currently in the custody of the Anti-Terrorism Squad in connection with the smuggling of drugs worth Rs 200 crore from Pakistan. Bishnoi was handed over to the ITS in the new case while he was in Tihar jail in the case of murder of Punjabi singer Siddu Moosawala. The family says that Moosawala, who was killed, has no connections with gangs. But the Bishnoi group says that Moosawala's manager, Shagunpreet, did it on Moosawala's instructions to kill Vicky.
