Kottayam District Aquatic championship for Juniors and sub Juniors for selecting the District team was held at Thoppans Swimming Academy Pala. Thoppans Swimming Academy won the overall championship. St. Thomas college aquatic centre Pala came second.
Municipal Aquatic centre Pala came third while Champions aquatic club Kuravilangad came further. Total seven teams participated in the competition. Binu pulikkakkandom, Municipal councilor and President Kottayam District Aquatic Association inaugurated the meet.
Selected swimmers will participate in the kerala state Aquatic championship starting from 14th June at Trivandrum
