A huge fire breaks out in Degnam, East London; About 100 people were evacuated; Indian Expat Family Narrow Escape from the Scene

UK: A huge fire breaks out in a flat in Degnam, East London. No casualty. About 100 people were evacuated from inside the building. Two people were injured in the hospital.

The fire broke out last night at a multi-storey building on Freshwater Road in Chadwellheath, near Degnam. More than 200 fire fighters from more than 40 units in the vicinity brought the fire under control with the help of a helicopter.
At 2.44 in the morning, the fire force was called for help. Within seconds, the fire broke out through the exterior cladding of the building. The cause of the accident is not known. Indian Expat and uk resident Joseph, his wife Tinu and their baby miraculously survived the accident.

The flat of both the chartered accountants was completely gutted. Stayed here for three years. Tinu, who was on maternity leave, ran away with her baby as soon as the fire broke out.

They lost all their belongings including certificates, household items, clothes, laptops and mobile phones. However, this family is relieved to have miraculously escaped the accident. Joseph and his family now live with his brother Thomas in Chadwellheath.

It is assumed that the fire started from the nursery which was working just below their flat on the second floor. Work was going on here for months to remove the unscientific cladding of the building.

The London Fire Brigade itself testifies that the building was operating without complying with fire safety standards. A major disaster was averted because the residents, including pregnant women and children, were rescued very quickly.

By the time the people were evacuated, the fire started and the glass and other things exploded. Many people came out of the building when the smoke came into the rooms while they were sleeping and a major disaster was averted.

Prime Minister Sir Kier Stammer and Home Secretary Wete Cooper praised the fire, police and ambulance services for their swift response and averting casualties.
