To further enhance its presence on domestic routes, Air India Express has launched six new direct flights in a single day. New services have been started on Thiruvananthapuram – Chennai, Chennai – Bhubaneswar, Chennai – Bagdogra, Kolkata – Varanasi, Kolkata – Guwahati and Guwahati – Jaipur routes. Out of this, Air India Express is the only direct flight service on Guwahati – Jaipur route.
Considering the convenience of passengers, the number of weekly services on Thiruvananthapuram – Chennai route has been increased from two to nine. The service is scheduled to leave Chennai at 6.50 pm and reach Thiruvananthapuram at 8.20 pm and return at 8.50 pm to reach Chennai at 10.20 pm. Air India Express operates a total of 73 weekly flights from Thiruvananthapuram.
This includes 12 direct services and 23 one-stop services to domestic and international airports. Direct flights to Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Bengaluru, Kannur, Dammam, Dubai, Doha, Hyderabad, Chennai, Muscat, Riyadh, Sharjah and Ayodhya, Bhubaneswar, Mumbai, Kozhikode, Kolkata, Kochi, Delhi, Guwahati, Goa, Gwalior, Indore, Bagdogra, Mangalore Air India Express also has one stop services from Thiruvananthapuram to Ranchi, Jaipur, Jeddah, Lucknow, Pune, Singapore, Surat, Vijayawada, Varanasi, Visakhapatnam.
Direct flights from Chennai to Thiruvananthapuram, Bhubaneswar, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Dammam, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Bagdogra, Kuwait, Singapore and Amritsar, Abu Dhabi, Bhubaneswar, Bahrain, Mumbai, Kozhikode, Kannur, Kochi, Delhi, Dubai, Goa, Gwalior, Imphal, Agartala , Air India Express also has one stop services to Mangalore, Ranchi, Jaipur, Lucknow, Muscat, Pune, Surat, Vijayawada, Varanasi and Visakhapatnam. Air India Express now operates 79 weekly flights from Chennai.
