New Delhi: Former Union Minister and Amethi MP Smriti Irani has said that there has been a change in Rahul Gandhi's politics. He considers himself successful.
Smriti Irani said in an interview that what he is putting forward, from caste politics to inflammatory speeches, is part of the new strategy. He is conscious of the message he sends to the youth when he talks about caste and wears a white t-shirt in Parliament. Smriti Irani also opined that he is making deliberate moves to target specific sections.
Good, bad or immature, his actions should not be underestimated. It represents a different politics. He did not get any benefit from Rahul Gandhi's temple visits. It turned out to be funny. Some thought it hypocritical. She said that when this did not work, she turned to caste politics.
