Georgia school shooting : 2 students, 2 teachers were killed and nine were injured today

New York: four people were killed in a shooting at a school in Georgia, USA.  2 students, 2 teachers were killed and nine were injured after gunfire today at Apalachee High School in Georgia, according to state officials.  Nine people were injured in the firing. The 14-year-old suspect, a student, surrendered immediately, law enforcement officials said.

The shooting happened at Appalachian High School in Winder, Georgia. The director of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, Chris Hosey, stated that Colt Gray, a 14-year-old boy from the same school who was the suspect in the incident, was taken into custody and will be charged with murder and will be tried as an adult. The injured were admitted to the hospital.

According to reports, the shooting took place an hour after the class started. President Joe Biden condemned the shooting. 

Calling the shooting a senseless tragedy, Kamala Harris, the US Vice President and Democratic Party candidate for the presidential election, responded that the violence should stop. Police inspected the school.
