Berlin: Germany to solve the shortage of skilled workers in Germany. German Labour Minister Hubertus Heil revealed that special measures will be taken to help more Indians immigrate to Germany.
Germany wants to recruit skilled workers from India on a large scale and thereby significantly reduce the widening skill gap in Germany. Germany has decided on a special skilled worker strategy for India. With more than 30 measures, German visas will be issued to Indians with fewer bureaucratic hurdles.
The measure is intended to facilitate the migration of Indians to Germany. In Germany, the move comes as a shortage of skilled workers threatens to hamper growth and progress. In India, one million additional people enter the job market every month.
As the Indian government promotes labour migration, Germany has roped in India as a key partner. Minister Hale explained that the Foreign Office is committed to digitizing the visa process for Indians.
Skilled workers will not be allowed to wait for visas. Instead, the process will be expedited. German will also be taught. The German Labour Minister explained the rules along with the Indian Ambassador. 1.4 billion people live in India. Many are young people entering the job market.
