Thiruvananthapuram: Orange alert has been announced in four districts in Kerala today. Orange alert is in place in Kottayam, Idukki, Ernakulam and Thrissur districts.
The Central Meteorological Department has warned that there is a possibility of isolated heavy rains . Heavy rains mean rainfall of 64.5 mm to 115.5 mm in 24 hours. Residents in areas prone to landslides, landslides and mountain floods have been advised to move to safer places as per the instructions of the authorities.
